Our Leeds shop may be closing but Curated Makers Market Trinity Leeds markets are here to stay!
Curated Makers Markets are a great way to offer even more makers the opportunity to be seen and shopped within prime retail locations. For the past year we have been running monthly and bimonthly markets right in the centre of Trinity Leeds and have seen the amazing development of brands as they test new products with high-street shoppers. We've also witnessed hundreds of shoppers be surprised and delighted with their discoveries.
We recently hosted a Mothers' Day market at the beginning of March which saw 22 makers come together across two days of trading. Despite being faced with the challenge of severe snowy weather conditions, it was great to see stallholders and shoppers safe and sound and happy to shop!
It's a joy to witness 22 small businesses having the opportunity to make a living from something that they love. If you made a purchase, gave them a smile, stopped for a chat or just commented on their amazing products, know that you played a big part in supporting your local creatives!
The market has also become a wonderful place for makers to find other like-minded humans who share the same passion, and who sometimes only live around the corner! Every market welcomes both familiar and brand-new faces to mingle and support each other. Trading within a shopping centre can be a daunting idea but is rewarding in many different ways from building confidence, gaining real-time feedback, and making sales.
