SPEAKING LIVE ON BBC RADIO MANCHESTER

Updated: Jan 30

What a morning! I spoke LIVE on BBC Radio Manchester with Michelle Dignan all about Curated Makers, The Princes Trust and King Charles III. I met the then, Prince Charles, in November 2021 where I was lucky enough to share the impact that The Princes Trust support has had on our business and consequently the makers that we represent! We sat in a round table alongside Alison Rose of NatWest and 5 entrepreneurs shared our thanks and business journeys with King Charles, it was a moment to remember indeed!

I loved this moment today on the radio so much that I wanted to share it with you, well both moments really. I hope this is one of many more interviews I get to share our story and help grow the profile of our events for the benefit of all our makers.

Thank you for your support if you tuned in, and if you missed it then you can listen to the interview here...

Here is the intimate moment we all shared together, and the moment when King Charles entered the room to announce, 'Oh it's like entering a doctors waiting room!'...I doubt his majesty has ever experienced such a waiting room...but we all shared a laugh and appreciated his relate-ability.

I joined The Princes Trust in November 2018 and took part in their Enterprise course. This is an image of me proudly stood outside their Manchester branch in Ancoats, it is such a beautiful building and a real upgrade from their old Salford offices where I first embarked on my journey with them.

I was lucky enough to be featured on their website via a case study, you can read that here should you like to find out more.

Megan Jones stood outside of the Prince's Trust headquarters in Manchester in 2018.

After taking part on the course, I was then paired with a Business Mentor, Dave! He has been such an invaluable part of my business and I am proud to now call both him and his wife friends...they have been such a support network for me and I continue to rely on Dave's input and business advice today.
