I'm originally from Sunderland in the North East but I moved down to Manchester (a long time ago now!) to study Fine Art at Man Met and I have been here ever since. I started Sketchbook Design in 2015 and have been working as a full time artist/illustrator since 2016. I have always loved art in which you can see the mark of the maker and this has really influenced the development of my own hand-drawn, personal style. I like my artwork to start conversations and draw on peoples own nostalgic memories; I find that by using simple words, lyrics, or illustrations you allow people to add their own meaning and memories to the artwork making it personal for them.
